So many of us spend each and everyday carrying a heavy load; one full of mistakes made, lies, and open wounds which leave us feeling disappointed on ourselves, guilty, unsuccessful and hurt.  These type of emotions are at the very root of all our issues; they become our road blocks in life.  They can take away from our abilities and talents….

So what if today you decided to forgive yourself; have you forgotten you are human?.  Yes you have the divine spark inside of you but this life is a classroom, we came here to learn from our mistakes, to evolve; if we were perfect we would not be here.  The beauty of our humanity lies within the transcending of our flaws.  By concealing our flaws and portraying ourselves as perfect, without baggage, masquerading our lives behind addictions or extreme religious beliefs, which leave no room for error, we end up hurting ourselves. We then are readily accepting the whip handed down to us and with which we punish ourselves for not being perfect.  Like a diamond, the beauty of life, of an object, of a being, lies within its imperfections.  Within our wounds, within our imperfections lie our medicine, our growth, our strength and our talents; to deny them is to deny the very essence of what makes us unique, human, divine, and special…

We are human, we make mistakes; its a vital part of our learning process and our growth, otherwise our lives would have no meaning. So today make the decision to forgive yourself, to not spend the rest of your life as an ameba, lost in your pain; pain brought on by the leash handed down to us by a very ill dual society. A society which promotes extremes; either extreme leaving you alone and frustrated.   STOP living with guilt, instead choose to learn the lessons mistakes offer you.  Look at each mistake as a loving teacher; one who gives you the opportunity to look at life from another perspective, and grants you the choice to grow and to better your life…So say it with me:

Starting today I forgive myself…I forgive myself for not showing myself love more often, for not accepting myself, for not valuing myself, for not showing respect to myself…

I forgive myself for judging my fears and insecurities which are normal and part of my path in life….

I forgive myself for letting toxic or congenial people have a place in my life.. I forgive myself for letting them suck the energy out of me or letting them judge me while hiding behind smiles..

I forgive myself  for having judged myself, compared myself with others and allowed them to criticize me in cruel ways.  I forgive myself for letting them push me to believe my worth was null…

I forgive myself for having felt miserable, for the feelings of hatred and pity I once felt towards myself.  I lost sight of just how valuable I am!…At the end of the day I am just a person trying each and every day to do the best I can by improving myself rather than becoming stagnant..

I forgive myself for letting others make me feel like I was not good enough, that I wasn’t worthy of speaking to simply because they claimed they didn’t know me.  I forgive myself for allowing their ignorance become my judge and executioner….

I forgive myself for letting others make me feel damaged; allowing their lack of self esteem to reflect on me; trying to drag me down to their level…

I forgive myself for putting the needs of others ahead of my own; for wanting to help them, guide them; when so many times I felt broken and hurt.  I forgive myself for having forgotten the basic principles of life “You can’t give to others what you don’t have”  “Take care of yourself first then go help others coming from a place of healing and wisdom”.

I forgive myself for the times in which I have denied who I really am in exchange for someone else’s approval, not realizing the opinion that should matter the most to me is mine!…

I forgive myself for judging others without knowing their history…

I forgive myself for having held resentment inside of me; for the times I kept quiet on how I felt and what I thought…

I forgive myself for letting the behavior of others affect my peace of mind…

I forgive myself for allowing those who came into my life with anger, violence and hypocrisy…

I am my own commander, my life belongs to only me, I choose who to share it with…The power to a harmonious life lies within me…

I forgive myself for having said yes when I wanted to say NO…

I forgive myself for not having said ENOUGH…I won’t let you abuse me any longer…

I forgive myself for having accepted fake kindness instead of genuine interactions; treating myself as if I was worth no more than that; in reality I am worth so much more and deserve better than fake relationships of any kind…

I forgive myself for letting others use me whenever they needed to satisfy their emotional, mental of physical needs…

I forgive myself for having let others manipulate me with their superficial tears or smiles while their actions showed the truth hidden within…

I forgive myself for the times I only focused on the negative things in my life…

I forgive myself for letting so many years go by; hiding my wounds; allowing others to make up stories about my life.

I forgive myself for taking care of the wrong people; leaving myself and my needs for last…

I forgive myself for the times I did not leave my comfort zone; for having pushed aside my goals and dreams…

I forgive myself for not showing faith on myself and my talents and believing those who did not want me to succeed. I bought into the fear, forgetting I am powerful beyond measure; all which I need to discover my talents, to change my life and achieve my dreams have always lay hidden within me…

I forgive myself for wasting too much time on frivolous things, forgetting to learn something new every day…

I forgive myself for feeling the need to apologize for my existence, treating myself as damaged….

I forgive myself for hiding and apologizing to others because I am different, a bit strange, and for not being able to fit in what others expect of me….I now recognize I am an authentic creation, a unique being who does not need to hide, pretend or apologize in order to fit someone else’s perception of “normal”I CHOOSE TO BE ME, because that is how I show love and respect to myself.  I am a weird and amazing being, who deserves to be loved and who has every right to shine….

Today I forgive myself, recognizing my life has always been an amazing journey; that those who tried to bring me down and hurt me, have not succeeded.  I stand now strong and in true confidence of who I am.  I hurt, I am imperfect, I makes mistakes, I get angry but I also love deeply, I show forgiveness when someone asks for it and truly means it, I choose to voice my opinion over congeniality, I choose to show myself to the world exactly as I am, I choose to be who I was created to be; if others don’t like it, its their problem not mine, for I have learned from all my experiences…

I choose to leave behind the doubts and embrace my insecurities so I may transcend them and develop real confidence and real faith in myself.   I make a pact with life, to enjoy it; to enjoy each sunrise and each sunset.  The most important person in this life is me so I break all chains to the past, to the old resentments; most importantly to the resentment I once felt towards myself. I choose my peace of mind, body and soul over everything else.  So long as I don’t choose to inflict pain on others, I have every right to embrace life, its gifts and my birthright which is happiness…

I am worthy, I am beautiful, I AM ME!…

Each day is a new chance to start over, to recreate your life in a way that works for you. Give yourself unconditional love.

All the great teachers, prophets and philosophers did say we should treat others the way we would like to be treated and to help others; none of those great teachers ever preached to treat yourself as less and to give to others what you don’t have or what you need.  When you give to others that which you don’t have, it does not come from the heart but from a false ego.  You can only give water if your thirst is first satisfied.  Today choose a new path, one which is gentle on yourself but propels you to move forward.   Choose self growth in a way by which your wounds are healed not just covered up….Choose to be you, choose your happiness…CHOOSE LIFE!
